I read the Pennsylvania Firearms Owners Association forum (forum.pafoa.org). I realize these dates have passed, but this looks like a decent outfit that deserves support. Trainer: FIRE Institute Website: www.fireinstitute.org Address: 505 Mossburg…

On my TM 226, it depends. If the slide is slightly rearward after firing then, No. It will not fire again because the trigger has not been reset. If cocked, I can take the slide off and it will "fire".

I have a couple of carry straps laying around and a handful of chargers I don't need. If you want, I can bring them to the zombie hunt or some other game you attend and can take a look at them.

I have a used Well P90, it needs: a new magazine a new strap; at least a metal hook that secures it to the rear of the butt stock A charger for a 650 mAH 8.4 battery Any help is appreciated.

I could use a wall charger for my inherited P90 (brand unknown). In fact, I haven't even disasembled to see battery size, but I suspect it's stock (NiCad).

Celebrity Star Power

Back in the day, a friend attended a seminar. The guns used simunition. I asked "why not airsoft?" and he replied "Because if you're shot, you know it and you don't want to get shot."

As some of you know, I'm an airsoft enthusiast, so I was excited to find a local airsoft field, Landscape Airsoft, just down the road from me.

A short while later, when I joined PAFOA, I found… Continue

Airsoft Publications

Here is a list of magazines and publications I have found.

Tactical Airsoft Review Magazine
www.tacticalairsoftreview.com
Free online magazine or ezine. I have only had a chance to review one issue so here are my first impressions. The articles are standard to what's going in Airsoft, so that means it's the same things you're reading everywhere else. The pictures are not as high quality as other airsoft publications I have seen. The ads are good quality.

Airsoft for Real Steel Practice

Since I'm on the verge of real military enlistment, I am in the market for a M4/M16 variation. I would prefer a weapon with realistic operation. Plus, I would prefer an US-based manufacturer.

1. Charging handle. I believe only gas weapons would have one that functions in the manner of priming the first round. On an AEG it only releases the dust cover and exposes the hop up. Are there any AEGs require locking and loading?

2. Winding a magazine. Is this something on hicaps only or is it midcaps… Continue

Review of all airsoft podcasts via iTunes

DeadRag Airsoft Radio - The shows are made exclusively for iTunes so pictures are available; however, the quality of those pictures is questionable. They used to post the pictures in their blog, but it doesn't appear they are anymore. They use solid, high quality equipment (mics, software) so sound quality is excellent. Shows are over an hour long, but are jammed with good interviews, reviews, and technical information. I would give them 4 stars except they often review expensive, high end gear.… Continue

RC helo for UAV recon?

I'm surprised the airsoft community has not embraced radio controlled unmanned aerial vehicles. It's probably due to limitations like money, safety, and terrain.

In order to provide close-in surveillance, you would need a helicopter for it's hover abilities. You could use a fixed wing aircraft but it would be tough keeping eyes on the ground without advanced optics.

Surviellance would be the only practical application since you don't want someone to shoot at your expensive RC helicopter, or ha… Continue

Hey all, Jarhead sounding off here. I was thinking about everything going on in the Airsoft community here lately and a thought came to me. Why don't we try to get everyone on this site to a game? Isn't that the reason we joined the site and why we all bought our airsoft toys? There are a lot of you I have never met and would very much like to. If we could start talking about dates and times that we could pull a big game together, we may be able to do it before the green starts to turn brown. What say you folks? It doesn't have to be a Firefight game but maybe just some simple skirmish scenarios or all of you against me. That might give you guys a chance. wink wink Let's give it the ole college try.
