Dang!, im getting a new gun for christmas and i would really like to go to a solus event with it lol, my gun needs repairs too. I would like to have a winter war or somthing like that, you know like when it snows out. but that would be kinda hard ...

Nice. Looks like there is definitely enough interest. I'll find out about using the farm... :)

I'm game. Wouldn't mind playing an operator for a change.

I'd like another solus event, doesn't matter what weekend, so long as I know ahead of time. Anyway, I could help with writing, but probably can't do an entire event's worth of plot... I could be a good co-writer

Did you guys play any more after dinner? The rain was incredibly sucky, but I'm looking forward to the next Zombie Hunt! How about a winter Zombie game? ;)

If it is at the farm, I will definitely be there... and I'll do my best to get the other two that we had for the second event to make it as well.

Has there ever been an instance where operators have attacked each other? I have a feeling this may happen at the next game the way things are going lol.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not sure if I will be able to make next weekend or not. I really would love to come down, I will know more the beginning of next week. I'm not real familiar with everything here in Firefight!, I've only ever play a few skirmishes with friends, so I would have to get up to speed. I'd love to meet up with you all sometime though, nice to know there are players in the area and actually places I don't have to travel a long distance to play at! Thanks again for the welcome!

anything as long as it protects your eyes but if we are in a fire fight and all they can see is your head, they can shoot you. that happens alot during our games

Developer's Blog - Ammunition

EDIT: Go here for the latest on Ammo

After much debate, we've decided to try a more direct approach to tracking ammunition. This change will be play tested at the upcoming Solus kickoff event.

Instead of the abstract 'Reloads' and ammunition checks, operators will get boxes of ammunition.

A box of .30 ammunition box is about 45 BBs.
A box of shotgun shells is about 45 BBs.
A box of .20 ammunition is about 90… Continue

Developers Blog - OpFor: A Force to Reckon With

For those of you that have played Fire Fight!, you know the game is tipped in the favor of the Operators winning the battles. It keeps the story heading in the intended direction. But drop your guard and the OpFor could easily gain the upper hand. It's the OpFor's job to challenge the Operators every step of the way, making sure nothing is too easy.

With that said, we're considering implementing a new way for the OpFor team to earn their advancement checks for the event. Each objective would gr… Continue

Bringing it All Together - Developer's Blog

Fire Fight! Campaign has come a long way over the last few months. What started off as just a cool notion for a G.I. Joe game has really taken on a life of its own, becoming a solid ruleset capable of handling almost any airsoft scenario.

Nathan and I have been fixing up a few loose ends. Today we nailed down specifics about disease and radiation (an addition that will come into play during our Twilight game). Disease is simply treated as Harmful, so it fits right into the Consequence system al… Continue
