Fantasy LARP
Hello everyone. I know some of you out there are interested in Fantasy LARPS so I figured I would post about an upcoming event at the one I, JP and Mike Miller, atttend. It is called Circle of Swords and it has been around for quite some time, well over 10 years. I have been going since March and have enjoyed it thouroughly. Mike has been going for many years so I assume he enjoys it as well.
Anyway, they have an event the weekend of October 23-25 at Camp Agawam near Butler. The camp is an excellent place to play as it has a fort, castle, boat, and underground tunnel, all of which get used quite a bit. This event is going to be epic, as a long time story line is coming to the end (with the end of exisitence as we know it being a possible outcome) . Mike Miller's plot rotation is NPCing the event so if you chose to NPC he would be there, and JP and I will be PCing so you would know some people if you chose to do that. If you have any questions feel free to message me. I am sure Mike would not have any problems answering questions, although I cannot speak for him.
The website is www.circleofswords.com. For those of you that have attended fantasy larps in the past, they have a points transfer system that allows you to transfer some of your points from your old system to theirs ( I got 50 points).
Just trying to get a little cross-pollination going. I know several of the COS players are interested in Firefight, and I believe one of them attended the Zombie event, so the wheels have been put into motion.

COS, huh. Gheez does that bring back some old memories...wonder if they still have my char on file. It's only been like 12 years ;)

They actually might. I know Dave keeps character records for very long periods of time. However, I believe at some point they are reduced to gold and skill points
